RoHS - Now part of the CE Mark

The latest Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) Directive (2011/65/EU) was transposed into UK law on the 2nd January 2013.

This legislation bans the placing on the EU market of new EEE containing more than the agreed levels of:

  • lead (Pb)

  • cadmium (Cd)

  • mercury (Hg)

  • hexavalent chromium (Cr6+)

  • polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)

  • polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)

Unless any specific exemptions apply, all products, product designs, systems and assemblies supplied by Friswell Technologies Ltd are compliant with the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (2nd January 2013) and CE marked.
